Self-Portrait Challenge 3: Cross-Hatch
This was going to be about the frustrating piece of knitting under my left hand, but looking at the photo with fresh eyes, I see the woven pattern of my wedding ring (given to me by LB's grandma) is echoed nicely in the wrinkled hash marks of the knuckle just above it, not to mention that exposed bit of woven metal lawn chair.

If the ring could speak it would tell us about her biggest challenge, gone missing for a long, long time only to appear shortly after Miss Olive's birth who is now facing a new challenge very well indeed.

Jen - I have followed your clothing on eBay for awhile, and admired your creative writing on your auctions. I am also a mother of a daughter with Autism and found your blog through your auctions. The reason I am writing is I am not a knitter, but have inherited 2 large boxes of vintage knitting patterns (to include a bunch of Norwegian style patterns)from my Grandmother. I don't really want to sell them on eBay because I feel sentimental about them, but I thought you might have a use for them. If you would like them, please e-mail me at laurapulak@yahoo.com.

Jen, nice to see you participating in SPC :)
