Congratulations, It's Snakes.

On Sunday night, I dreamt that I was wandering through the woods with four other women, and we were all of us hugely pregnant.  Only one of the women in our party was expecting humans: she was having quadruplets, had just birthed two, and decided to hang onto the other two for a little while longer.  Another  woman was expecting a turtle. And I knew that according to the Ultrasound, I was bearing snakes.

All the other women were envious and kept remarking on how I would have the easiest delivery, but I wasn't so sure snakes were what I wanted.  I'm not really a reptile person.  Would I be able to bond with the snakes?  I had a dim awareness that something wasn't right in this cross-species scenario, but I couldn't put my finger on what it was.

You can imagine my relief when I woke to discover there were no snakes, and that I had simply caught Olive's noxious, 5-day GI virus, complete with...all that entails.  Entrails?

Naturally, I was the model patient: a brave little solider, really.  I sipped my ginger ale quietly and put no one out.

I hope the brave little soldier is doing much better. My love to you and the two wonderful nurses who helped you at home;Sabina and L.B.

Feel better you! And I personally would have been freaking out in that dream if I was supposed to birth snakes. FREAKING RIGHT OUT.

Bless your heart. Be sure to buy new toothbrushes or sterilize the ones you have, sometimes the virus will live on in the brush and will re-infect you.

Wonderful to come across your blog. I'm a knitter, living outside of Chicago and I have a wonderful 10 year old son with autism. Thanks for the blog!

Interesting.

Veeerrry interesting.

Hope you and yours are feeling better!

Hope you're feeling better.

I have dreams about snakes on occasion, but in the I am not nearly as calm as you! And they're not usually prompted by being sick - just seeing a snake on tv or something will do it.

Feeling better, I trust?

Who dreams about snakes? And pregnant with them? I think Dr Crane needs to weed this one out. :-)

Feel better soon!

Ugh - I hope you feel better Jen!

Well, having a litter of snakes (a clutch? a herd? a flock?) in the house would certainly take care of any mouse problem ;-)
