Olive has been gluten-free about a week now, and has continued to improve. No more diarrhea. In fact, no more loose stools. This morning she did something in the toilet that a mom with less self-control might have photographed and posted for all the world to see, then printed out and framed. Instead, I'll share with you a picture Olive's teacher emailed me this afternoon, of Olive being happy and not distracted by her tummy and present.

I'm so incredibly heartglad and happy for Olive!
I went g/f about 4 years ago after 45 years of itchy rashes, "ibs", i.c., tingly toes and fingers, and a host of other immune and autoimmune disorders. A friend suggested it might help with the rash on my fingers (whch it did) but I never expected ibs, nerve problems, rheumatoid arthritis to vanish as well.

Let no one accuse you of lack of self-control!

So happy for all of you! The grains produced today are so far from the original form that we just can't digest them. My vet even told me that he's having to put many of the pets he sees on gluten or grain free diets.

I love both these recent pictures. Olive is a very pretty girl and she looks so relaxed and happy here. (Red is HER colour for sure). Fingers crossed for you but especially for Olive, that her little oasis of peace expands into full and robust health permanently. XXXXX (All my fingers crossed)
