I have a finished object to share! I began this dress months ago with the intention of it being a Hanukkah present. LB had a business trip scheduled where he was going to get to see our friends' baby Julia, and I figured he could bring it with him and give it to her in person.
And then time went by. LB's trip came and went. He met and fell in love with Julia. If I'd included the dress in his suitcase, he probably would have forgotten to give it to her as the two of them were extremely busy doing frog-hoppers, pop-up and face grabbers-grabbers.
Eventually I finished the dress and was about the block it when the plague hit our family. For ten days I did nothing but curse that I was ever born (and I had reason). I forgot about the little dress entirely.
Yesterday Beata was here and she noticed the dress on a shelf. She picked it up and said, "This is very nice." And then, in a much more rebuking tone, "You must finish this."
Like Mary Poppins, Beata is perfect in every way, and never repeats or explains herself. If Beata likes this dress, then it must be good. It is now blocked, and after one more day of drying will be ready to wing its way to Miss Julia.
Hearts go here.

Beata's right, that's very nice indeed!

And did you also write (not blog) while the dress (gorgeous) was drying?
